Karen M. Mazal, President
After graduating with a B. A. in psychology from NYU, Karen began her career working in a
short-term psychiatric unit at St. Barnabas Medical Center while concurrently doing graduate
work at Montclair State University. If you ask her what her most challenging job has been,
her answer would be "Work-life balancing" with motherhood as her primary focus.
(Don't we work as hard as we do to improve the quality of our lives and the ones we love?)
Karen has done freelance writing, including writing a health and fitness radio show for WEVD
in New York. She has taught children about reality, and adults how to separate illusion from
reality; but healthcare recruitment is where she has found the perfect venue in which to
utilize her skill sets while helping others at the same time. Her partner in life and business
brought organizational and analytical expertise to the company in August of 2002.
